About Me

A responsive landscape image

Hi I'm Xavi!

I'm a local architect and artist, born and raised in Barcelona with a deep love for my city.

For almost 20 years I lived in the Sagrada Familia neighborhood at the heart of Eixample. I'm also very proud of having explored every corner of Barcelona, from the historic winding streets of the Gothic Quarter to the vibrant, lesser-known and truly authentic areas.

Since 2017, I have been sharing my local insight to guide a diverse audience—from tourists and students to curious residents—through the history, architecture, culture, and gastronomy of Barcelona. My aim is to go beyond the typical guidebooks and reveal the hidden gems and unique stories that only a lifelong local can truly provide.

I've carefully crafted a guide with useful tips and my favorite spots in Barcelona. Check it out!
